Misaje Council is located in the Misaje Sub-Division of the Donga Mantung Division, in the North West Region of Cameroon. Misaje town, the headquarters of the Sub-Division, is situated at the gateway to the northern plains of the division, bordering the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the north. It lies approximately 175 km north-east of Bamenda via the Ring Road (Bamenda–Kumbo–Nkambe–Misaje axis). The council area is served mainly by the Nkambe–Misaje–Dumbu road axis, which connects the municipality to other councils within the Donga Mantung Division and serves as a vital corridor for cross-border trade and the regional cattle market.
